Workshops on data storage and preparation as well as metadata management and provision.
In addition to infrastructural and technical development, the data management of the CONMAR project offers data management workshops on a regular basis - and as needed. In these workshops, the technical and personnel requirements as well as components of a (geospatial)data infrastructure are explained. Step by step, the participants are guided through the process of data publication as an OGC service (e.g. in the Marine Data Portal) from data storage and preparation to provision. The workshop will also provide information on metadata standards and best practices for metadata collection.
